Congratulations to our VP Engineering & Sales, Jerry Waterland for receiving the 2014 ASME Pressure Vessels & Piping Division Conference CT/Bolted Joints Technical Committee Outstanding Technical Paper award for "Buckling and Lateral Pressures in Spiral Wound Gaskets."
The paper details FEA and experimental research on the force dynamics which lead to buckling and distortion failure in spiral wound gaskets. In addition, Jerry Waterland & Senior Applications Engineer Anita Bausman were awarded the Best International Technical Session at the 2014 Conference, for the technical session that they developed and chaired “Bolted Joint Assembly.”
