Transportation Business Development Representative

VSP Technologies is a manufacturer and distributor of fluid sealing solutions for the industrial and transportation industries. We offer a full line of proprietary gaskets designed exclusively for unique fluid sealing applications that deliver high tightness sealing.

VSP Engineers and Specialists are recognized experts in the gasket industry. We have over a dozen patents for fluid sealing products, with more pending. Essential Functions

  • Transportation Business Development Representative - Midwest Territory (Chicago, IL) VSP Technologies is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Business Development Representative to join our transportation team.
  • Responsibilities of the position include expanding the sales and use of VSP’s RideTight® Program and proprietary/specialty products for new and existing clients/customers utilizing Rail/ISO/Bulk Transportation Equipment. The successful candidate will travel within the territory to identify and establish contact with potential customers, schedule and perform product demonstrations, attend trade shows, and be a resource for customers and manage their expectations for the RideTight® program.

Required Experience / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) majors
  • Customer service interactions, support, and sales experience
  • Experience relating to essential job functions

Preferred Experience / Education

  • Industrial experience
  • Working knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma
