Territory Sales – Transportation/Rail – Baton Rouge, LA
Become the in-house sealing expert with Repair Shops, Depots, Shipper/Fleet Managers, and Shipper Plant Sites in your territory by the identification of training, cost savings, and VSP proprietary products and RideTight program opportunities at existing and new clients.

Essential Functions
- Travel weekly within the territory to identify and solve customers sealing issues
- Provide customer/site support and training in assigned territory
- Create an annual training schedule for each of your customers
- Document the cost impact of your work/solutions for the plant
Travel
Weekly overnight travel when working within the territory; 50% plus. Additional overnight travel required when attending manufacturer training courses.
Required Experience / Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience relating to essential job functions
- Customer service interactions, support, and sales experience
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM)
- Industrial experience
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
