Fusion-Bonded PTFE Gaskets
One example of the innovative work we do at VSP Technologies is our “fusion-bonding” technology.
This unique technology allows us to fabricate one-piece PTFE or PTFE-based gaskets with large diameters (in excess of 60 inches I.D.).
Fusion-bonding:
- Eliminates typical problems associated with dove tail gaskets, like leak paths across joints
- Enables a dramatic reduction in material costs
- Allows nearly limitless size capabilities for creating gaskets
